money alone is not always sufficent (see Texas this year) but more $$$ = better coaches = more wins...add in better facilities and you'll start to lure better athletes and players...and if you keep those good coaches and add better athletes that usually = even more wins.
all i know is standing pat while the P5 flies by us is a death wish for the program.
