Worst officiating I've seen in awhile
Yes, yes I know, I've heard all the arguments, even used them. We made plenty of mistakes, we missed shots, we coulda, woulda, shouda won the game anyway. It's a tough job to officiate a game. I know I couldn't do a good job of it. But I can watch and I do know when the officials do a terrible job and this game was it.

The refs were just horrible. Don't know if it was one, two or all three but there had to be some bias there. It was just too one-sided to not be.

At one point late in the second half, the announcers stated that the fouls were BYU 19, Perduckin 5. All of our four big men were in foul trouble. Theirs were not. That is only one of the glaring officiating problems. Neilson, Austin, Worthington and Kaufusi were called every time they even touched an opponent. Perdue guys simply had to stick their elbow into Austin's chest to draw the call from the nasty refs. Unbelievable.

Haws was held, pushed, grabbed, mugged, assaulted, groped and otherwise violated with impunity with little protection from the, apparently on one end of the court blind, officials. This is nothing new as it often happens and teams know it and they keep getting away with it. We have to find a way to put a stop to this abuse. It's dishonest and unfair and costs us the close games.

There were countless other bad or missed calls that went against BYU. Sure there probably were some that went against Purdud but I don't remember any. Yes, there were good calls too. Not every single call was bad or every genuine foul missed.

But the refs could not see most of the fouls on Perdoodoo. For the most part Haas was treated like Michael Jordan out there. He got away with going over the back and shoving our big men on rebounds and getting position and almost always got away with it. Not so on the other end, our bigs were called with foul after foul. Disgusting officiating.

I watched the game again and watched for bad calls and missed calls and I saw way too many to count. It was outrageous. The refs (one or more) had an outcome for this game in mind and they got it. With a fairly and honestly called game, we would have won easily.
