Austin did keep in front of his man. On the replays, you can clearly see that the only contact was the guy with the ball using his off arm to push Austin off. The only contact was the Purdue players elbow/forearm in Austin's chest. And the refs called that a foul on Austin. I watched the replays and that's how it went.

Anyway you cut it, that is a bad call. And the bad calls and missed calls happened over and over in the game. Terrible officiating.
