He's was constantly in the ref's ear. Who knows what he said or how persuasive he was but when the fouls were BYU 19 and Perdue 5 late in the game, it's obvious something was working for them.

I would guess he kept after them about Haas since he fouled a lot but seldom got called. And on the other end our big guys got called for every little thing. Every one of the four BYU guys got in foul trouble. Many of those calls were ridiculous, in light of the fact that Purdue guys did the same stuff on the other end but didn't get called.
