We are not wishing on stars- we are looking at facts and reality. This is not an "urban" thing, its a "Ohio State Recruits" thing and them being lucky that their backup QB was fantastic and didn't transfer. This is extremely rare in college football. Most often what happens is like what happened to OK when we knocked Bradford out of the game. His backup (?) was a Heisman contender the next season but wasn't that good for the rest of the season he replaced Bradford. Tayson, Williams, Bills and 12 other starters going down is more than Ohio State has faced this season by a long shot. To ignore that is wishing on stars.
AS for your doom and gloom scenario - you are focusing on a few things that are not necessarily even true - Like the "no top 25s" that gets thrown around here all the time but isn't true - and ignoring all the positives. And for the record, our recruiting is pretty much the same as ever.
