That's false. Taysom wanted an offer, BYU ignored him
BYU's other options didn't pan out, BYU finally offered, Taysom rejects the offer and signs with Stanford. Taysom leaves on a mission. Stanford's offer gets worse with head coaching change and no mid-year scholie. Taysom reapplies for scholarship at BYU, then they offer again, then he accepts. That's the stumble and bumble approach to getting a recruit.
