Members of the church want the Church to come out and make a definitive
statement, but it's not happened. Caffeine is know to be habit forming, addictive, damaging to heart and contributors to other health issues. So do cheeseburgers. Nobody from the Church will come out ans specifically cite cheeseburgers are against the WOW, but it there's evidence they are unhealthy, they are probably against the WOW.
That said, I love cheeseburgers, and a whole host of other unhealthy guilty pleasure foods (funeral potatoes) that will probably be the death of me.
My point in all this is that the Church has not made any recent definitive statements on caffeine.
