Well, I think you're the guy that's wrong now.
In my view, recruiting has actually improved with Indy and I think it's far better than it would be if BYU was saddled with the G5 label.
As an example, there's no way a guy like Kurtz chooses BYU over USC if we are still playing in the MWC. Not sure Jordan Leslie transfers over. Doubt we land Longsden. I can't think of a single guy we lost who would have been more likely to sign on if BYU re-joined the MWC.
In fact, as I think about it I have to wonder if your post was TIC.
