Well, I guess if the ultimate goal as a program is to go to a NY6 game, then
we should run as fast as we can to the weakest G5 conference we can find. We'll schedule one or two reasonably tough games per year, and run the table most years in the conference. Boom. Great records, frequent NY6 bowls. And no one will care. On the other hand, if we challenge ourselves with great schedules and win a bunch of games, we will have legitimately earned our way to relevance and respect. There is far more to college football than finding the easiest path to a NY6 game.
