Our worst year as an independent

is better than our best year in the current MWC. The only reason for ever going back is if the playoff committee agreed to consider the G5 champ on equal terms with the other leagues. But even with that in place they would still cite SOS as a reason to keep us out.

Edit: I take that back - the only way would be if the playoff was expanded to 8 teams and the G5 champ got an auto bid.
