Independence is far from the only road to respect.
Almost all our tough games are the first four weeks. There is no reason why we could not have a very similar schedule in the MWC.
Except that we would also be in a conference that would continue to get more respect and provide us a much better path to more significant bowls.
It is not the all or nothing proposition that you claim it is.
