First of all, take your dad and your brother to
BYU sports events where BYU is currently in the top level as a means of getting that feeling back. I had a blast this year with my friend who has been frustrated in recent years due to what he wants for BYU football and what has actually happened. The reason for this was attending Rugby matches including matches against Saint Mary's and the Varsity Cup Final at Rio Tinto. He loved it and couldn't get enough. Now my friend loves to hate anything Utah Ute and when I explained where Utah was in the world of Rugby vs BYU he was excited about it all.
All this has made it easier for him to continue his love for all things BYU including renewing his season tickets for fooball.
