You know, it's entirely possible
that winning 8 games with Riley as the QB was progress. Jerry Sloan said his best year of coaching was when he had no star players on the team and they just missed playoffs by 1 game (or so).
I've said this already but let me add a wrinkle - if Taysom stays healthy, as well as all the other key players who were hurt there is a very reasonable possibility that we go undefeated last year. Even if we don't go undefeated it would still have probably been Bronco's best season as HC.
