The probe isn't that it's his goal, it's that he states his goal is so hogh
But is making absolutely no progress to obtain such a lofty goal. If anything, he has regressed as a coach since his early days.
It's not coincidence that most college athletics coaches don't state their goal as the national championshp; they know that, once it's stated, people are going to expect more, since you've declared your goal to be the very top. We have every right to expect more out of Bronco. He has declared he wants the expectations that high. And I think even he might agree that he has, unfortunately, fallen short of his goals.
