Does "different" mean equally good?
Your statement about different schools having different climates seems to contain contradictions. The statement itself acknowledges that there are differences in the "climate" of various schools. But you also imply that you would give a "thumbs up" to whatever they choose. I'd argue there isn't much difference between the experience he would have comparing UCLA vs. Arizona, but I'd argue there is a huge difference between the experience he would have comparing BYU vs. Arizona. And that difference is in the people he will be associating with and their values and practices. If I assume you are a BYU alumni, you would understand why BYU is the better choice for a young man at this point in his life.
