Havent there been several Duke players who went on missions? I think there was
a guy (last name might be Fish?) who went to Duke and went on a mission or maybe even a couple. Of course Jabari would have been supported by Coach K and Duke if he had chosen to go on a mission, at least based on the public proclamations, so it wouldnt necessarily be a foregone conclusion that Frank wouldnt go on a mission.
I do agree with you however, the strong trend is nonetheless that kids who dont go to programs within the state of Utah rarely go on missions.
(there was also a North Carolina player who went on a mission within the last few years, a PG I believe, I cant recall his name but I think he should be back and either be on UNC roster or have just graduated or moved on.....
