On the other hand, there are hundreds of possible considerations that might move Frank's choice to one of these schools or another. On another thread here, some narrow minded soul sets up a goofy false dichotomy, and there are those who just can't see why the Jacksons would consider Stanford or some other program that doesn't fit their idea of what is or what should be important to the Jackson family. But this is what we do--project our own values onto everyone else.
It's not so tough to see the case for Stanford or any number of other institutions if we get past the false structure set up by some inward looking CBer values projected unto the Jackson family. There are plenty of plausible reasons besides basketball for Frank to choose an alternative to BYU.
