Schadenfreude is basic human nature...even for good people.
I think you are right about the team coming together, particularly on offense. I think Anae has put together what is likely his best offense and probably the best BYU offense since the 80's. When you sort of get picked to replace a guy you have some philosophical differences with...and then two years later you are fired and he comes back...and now it looks like he's going to do very well, it's easy to see why there may be a little bitterness.

I do think once the season starts he's on the bandwagon. He's true blue. And if this is indeed a special season he'll be a cheerleader.
