Taysom has been developing and improving as a QB year over year. So did Christian Stewart over the course of last season.

We didn't see that with Doman. Lark and Munns both spent 5+ yrs in the program and never progressed. Riley got the lion's share of the reps after Heaps left and he never progressed as a QB and still had faulty mechanics and was poor at making reads and going through his progressions. Heaps started to show signs of improvement but didn't respond well to the whole locker room divide and the pressure he felt from Riley trying to politick for his starting job and he eventually regressed.

Interesting that this is just another example of great assistant coaching hiring decisions made by Anae. He totally trumps Bronco in this area. We often focus on the success of his other hires like 2J, Atuaia and Holiday and overlook Beck. Beck may be his best hire yet he totally works behind the scene and gets overlooked.
