The Money is going.
My sister is a teacher; my niece is; one of my buddies taught English.
They all made a living, but not a ton. (Though my English Buddy worked construction over the summer and made six figures between the two jobs.)
My complaint is exactly that. . .none of these fundraisers increase the salary of the people actually teaching.
I would prefer if the school said "This fundraiser is for playground equipment" or "This 'festival' will benefit our music department" or whatever. But as far as I can tell, the money goes in a black box and Golden farts emerge from the back.
