This is so, so true. Interesting to me that not only is Utah pretty much dead last in terms of per pupil spending, but more significantly, is one of the worst states for teacher salaries, while still in the Provo/Orem, SLC areas having decently high housing costs. Our actions do not support our mouths about how much we value kids and education.
