dead wrong?
I'm sorry that your experience with it has been different than mine. Some mid level executives are perfectionists and micro-managers, and while not accusing you of either, could it be that it's your personality that is causing you to put more into your teaching career than you really need to? Also, before responding please remember that you don't know me, you don't know my experience, you don't know my heart. Just because your experience hasn't been the same as mine, doesn't mean you're right and I'm wrong. This is exactly what is wrong in the world today.

A lot of people go into teaching for 3 reasons: 1. June. 2. July. 3. August. Then they love to complain about being underpaid... I myself have had to find 2nd jobs during the summer months, including working at Wal-mart this last summer. But I also understand that someone shouldn't be getting paid when they aren't working. Perhaps you do enough work during the school year to justify to yourself that you aren't paid enough, that's fine, whatever floats your boat. In my opinion, and from what I've seen with my own eyes, teachers are paid sufficiently for the work they do.
