RE: I seriously doubt they expect her at an Elementary School by 7am
seriously??? I work at a high school. First bell rings at 7 am. I just got home from volleyball and it was 8 pm. that is typical for most of my staff. (I am one of those devilish administrators) The single most important thing a teacher can do is give good, quality feedback. A typical high school teacher has 180 to 200 kids on their load. if they just spend five minutes a week on each kids work that is 15 to 20 hours a week outside of the classroom. They do get a prep for 50 minutes a day...but that 2/3 a job is not only a myth but BS.

as to the OP...you have the right to ask for a full accounting of where every penny goes. I have several parents each year do it. I love to sit with them and open the books. It is a great eye opener.

and I HATE fundraisers!!!
