Some career tracks pay more (e.g. investment banking) and many BYU grads specifically avoid those in favor of life balance. That said, BYU can still get you into those types of jobs. Also, Stanford grads are more heavily weighted in terms of expensive places. Just two reasons why it is not a no-brainer.
