Sure, there are cases like that and it definitely doesn't suck
to be a Stanford grad. In that case, yeah, no brainer to go to Stanford and make huge bucks. It doesn't work out that way for all of them though.
The Stanford grads all do well where I work, but the BYU grads do well too. And there isn't an appreciable difference in salary between them, or the Chicago Booth grads, or the Fuqua grads, even five years in. I realize that may not be the case everywhere.
