Get the most prestigious graduate degree you can afford;
Don't go broke or engage in endless debt, but if you can have a Harvard law or MBA degree or one from Stanford. Do it, no questions asked.
In terms what you learn, they are not better per se. In terms of what doors they open, there is no comparison.
Here is a point to remember.
BYU's entire endowment is 1.1 B. Harvard in 2013 or 2014 procured 1.1B in new endowment. Its total endowment is more than most COUNTRIES. It is valued at 35.8 B.
That money comes from the best connections in the world. Would you not like to have access to the best referrals?!
Love BYU, but BYU will never approach that. If you can have Stanford or Harvard attached to your name, do it!
Now, a Dickison or Temple University may not be worth it. But the Ivies or Stanford, without a doubt.
