I posted most of the data earlier in the thread.
From 2006 to 2014 when BYU plays teams that have an average 5 year recruiting ranking (per Rivals and Scout) that is more than 10 spots higher than BYU's 5 year average recruiting ranking, BYU is 13-12 against those teams.
During the same period, BYU is 13-7 when playing teams with an average 5 year recruiting ranking that is +/- 10 spots within BYU's average 5 year recruiting ranking.
That's 26-19.
So far this year, BYU's first 4 opponents have a 5 year recruiting ranking that was as good or better than BYU's. Of course we were 2-2.
That's 28-21.
Cincinnati and Missouri also recruit as well or better than us. If we go to the Vegas bowl we probably will have another opportunity to play a team that recruits as well or better than us.
