Exactly. P5 would be great. But presently, BYU is in a better spot than either BYU or Utah were ever in
prior to 2011.
More money, better scheduling, better TV, and recognition as a P5 program by 3 P5 conferences (Notre Dame is the only other school that all 3 of the ACC, SEC, and Big 10 regard as P5).
From an institutional standpoint, Independence has been a resounding success.
