I'm a mountain climber (I'm not). The highest peak I had ever climbed was to
to the top of Mt. Timpanogos. For years I climbed that MTN (pun intended). Then one year a former colleague goes along on a trip and climbs Denali. I'd love to climb Denali but never got invited on the climb. I realize that I could do a lot more than Timpanogos, so I head on my own trip and climb Kilimanjaro. It's so much better than Timp. It's not Everest...it's lower than Denali. But it's much more than I'd ever done before.

I get home from my trip and people start telling me I failed because I didn't climb Denali... or Everest. But I can tell you...the view is MUCH better from Kilimanjaro than it was from Timpanogos, and I proved I can do it.

blah blah blah...did I really need to waste my time explaining this in a parable?
