We're not talking about some unknown. A ton of these guys spent all of last season with Mangum and he was their leader. It became his team. It's not some random backup who hasn't ever done anything. He's a guy who they've played with, played well with, and will play with in the future once Hill leaves. Mangum isn't in the way of anything. In reality, Hill is the one "in the way." Not saying that in a negative way. But this is a team who spent the last year behind one guy and were prepared to continue behind him for the next few. He has respect.
