You're asking the wrong question. Find someone who has even suggested what you're asking. This question is just one of many on the extreme end of reactions intended to fight the opposite extreme. It's more about people thinking there could be the possibility that maybe the offense hit a consistent low and it might not hurt to try an alternative. As this is something that would in no way be unique.
