True but it is painfully selective in punishment. Someone can gorge themselves

On meat daily, do zero exercise and basically treat their body like a garbage dump and not hear a peep from members. Meanwhile someone has a glass of wine in the evening or sips some tea and they can't go to the temple.

Not to mention shunned by many LDS people.
