Wrong, sorry. When the church decides to go JW and edit D&C 89, I'll agree,
otherwise why do we have it? It is a word of wisdom and a principle with a promise, not a commandment. But those are God's words, not mine. When was the last time you saw an overweight person kept out of the temple? Someone who eats meat other than sparingly? Any prophet talking about the word of wisdom or elaborating thereon is giving good counsel or advice, but to my knowledge none of them have redefined it while prefacing it with "Thus sayeth the Lord..." A prophet's counsel is Just that, counsel. Not all a prophet counsels is commandment from God. That's why we have D&C in the first place. Having every word of a prophet interpreted as command is how we get things that aren't actually doctrine like, I don't know, blacks without he priesthood.
At the end of the day we can always default to Christ, and I'm certain no man's teachings override or reinterpret His:
"Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man."
