of keeping said scripture. To pretend that there aren't huge discrepancies from prophet to prophet and that it's not a huge mental undertaking to keep track of it all, is disingenuous. For example, it's not required to be commanded in all things right? That's a scripture. why did the church turn what wasn't a commandment into one? Why have cannon at all, if it's all living, breathing, intstructions. Why study scripture if we don't have everything the later prophets said regarding each scripture side by sode?
I guess my point is, why have scripture if in the end it doesn't matter. And, if the current teachings are what trumps all, then why bother with the older stuff? Are we truly looking so far beyond the mark that we need the prophets to interpret each scripture for us?
