In fact the opposite is true and that's why the death penalty would send a message to every program out there that some things are more important than winning at all costs. It's not about having some vindictive hate against Penn St as you seem to have imagined, it's about preventing child rape from occurring, plain and simple. If you think knowledge of the incidents were limited to Sandusky and Jo Pat, then I guess justice was done. If you think that Jo Pat brought up these concerns to other people in the organization who chose to do anything other than prosectute Sandusky to the fullest (i.e. sweep the whole thing under the rug) then more should be done to punish the organization.
