The issue is all about....
Federal hiring regulations. The DOD is not allowed to discriminate based on Race, Religion, .....
The BYU honor code (according to Obama Political appointees inside DOD) determined that the HC was a discriminatory hiring practice.
DOD is not allowed to ask service members if they will sign the honor code.
The ROTCs are assigned to the Marriott School is actually the right place. The essence of ROTC is about teaching leadership. Where else would it be more appropriate than assigned to a MANAGEMENT College? Do you have a better idea?

You don't think it's reasonable for BYU to expect all professors to sign the honor code that all students also sign?

This is what I don't get. Is is so hard for the military to appoint a BYU guy for the BYU ROTC post?
