Yep, there's another side and it's more complex than Reddit reports
I talked recently to the previous ROTC commander at BYU about the negotiations that have been ongoing for several years. I can't do justice to the topic based on my memory of our short conversation (so I won't try), but I know the issue is much more complex than the simple, snarky synopsis in Reddit. And I won't be surprised if we eventually learn that moving the AFROTC administrative office to UVU is a reasonable accommodation that solves (or sidesteps) many of the problems without significantly reducing the AFROTC role at BYU.

I'm not at all surprised that Reddit has shallow, snarky reports without all the facts. I'm disappointed, but not surprised, that some BYU fans uncritically swallow Reddit's report and conclude that BYU must be the bad guy in this.
