Who actually pays the position - BYU or the military?

If BYU pays the position and this person is not receiving years of service for the military then hold them to whatever standard all other faculty are held to. If this person is paid by the military and is active duty, then it is an absolute shame BYU is forcing this person to sign an honor code. I'll consider writing a note of my immense displeasure to BYU if the latter is true.
