High expectations are inversely proportional to reactions

If we were in a 5 year spin, expectations would not be very high. We were expected to do well this year. When are expectations adjust several notches lower, there will be less drama. I'd worry that there would be no drama. In that scenario, we'd all expect to suck.

I think people feel there's little room for error. USC/ND might have horrible years but they aren't losing the arms race
