Agreed Texas Western won the "Natty" in 1966.
Their starting five in the championship game were all black players. Through the season they usually had a mix of white and black starters. Some think that Haskins switched to an all black starting lineup to make a statement due to Rupp's well known and accepted racism.
They beat Rupp's all white UK team in the championship.
