At a school he attended and won a national championship at that also happens to be a blue blood and one of the top 5-10 programs of all time. I would be lying if I said I never used a job as a stepping stone myself. Pope is a great coach. He’s also a great man. Not perfect and could have done things a little cleaner maybe but he is not some insanely underhanded individual scheming behind the scenes. He had a goal. Good for him for reaching it. I hope he has success just not against BYU.
