The Mtn was not a decision we had control over. Membership in the Mountain West was a success. BYU won't jump from Independence unless it is a clear cut better decision. Again my hopes are we join the Big 12, but if we are not in super conferences Independence is not a bad deal. My point is, Church Leaders are not stupid, the MWC was a good deal...and would have been better but Utah got the invite and that was that.
