you can't judge commitment by the same standard in every situation. And you can't judge commitment by one factor alone. ND's difference proves that you can't judge commitment simply on affiliation.
You all are plenty happy to point out the ND and BYU aren't the same (everyone knows that) but unwilling to believe that 1. BYU could also be different -or- 2. Samuelson and Holmoe see things differently than you do. The whole point IS that ND is different. They have taken a different path to show their commitment to the sport. Why can't BYU or why can't BYU's administration honestly believe in another way?
I want to B12 as much as anyone, but my tunnel vision isn't so bad as believe that my preference is the only possible way to be committed.
