That's a problematic issue...
Utah isn't making these goals up out of thin air, looking for ways to hurt BYU or dodge the rivalry game.
Having 7 home games directly benefits Utah, the PAC & PAC-12 network. Playing the game in Provo doesn't give that TV revenue. I don't think this completely summarizes the calculus involved in considering continuing the rivalry, but it certainly illustrates a legitimate obstacle.
