their "focus" may have grown, but their ability has shrunk
they have gone from being a player to a pretender and embarrassing themselves on the field of play in all sports.
1.Football Utah creamed BYU 54-10. BYU finished ranked in the top 25. Utah went 4-5 in the Pac-12.
2. Baseball -14-42 (7-23 in the Pac-12) (2-10 against WAC/WCC/MWC/Big Sky), going 1-2 against BYU
3. Mens Basketball 6-24 (3-16 in the Pac-12) (3-8 outside of the Pac-12). Lost to BYU by 19.
4. Womens Basketball 16-16 (8-10 in Pac-12). Lost to BYU by 5.
5. Softball Utah finished (28-28) with 2-22 in the Pac-12. Did not play BYU.
6. Mens Rugby BYU won the national title. BYU beat Utah by 16.
7. Soccer - Utah finished 10-9-1, losing to BYU 4-0, Utah State - (5-5 in Pac-12)
8. Womens Volleyball - Utah finished 11-21, losing to BYU 3-0, (6-16 in the Pac-12)
9. Womens Cross-Country - Utah finished 3rd of 3 teams at BYU invitational, and placed 8 of 12 in the Pac-12.
10. Mens Swimming and Diving bottom of the Pac-12. Utah men lost to BYU 138-162.
11. Womens Swimming and Diving bottom of the Pac-12. Utah women lost to BYU 137-161.
12. Mens Golf - Utah men placed 12th of 12 teams in the Pac-12.
13. Mens Tennis - Utah lost to BYU 2-5 and went 1-6 in the Pac-12
14. Womens Tennis - Utah beat BYU 5-2 and went 3-8 in Pac-12
15. Womens Gymnastics - Utah beat BYU 197.550-194.450. Utes placed 2nd of 8 teams in Pac-12 and 5th nationally.
