Outside of a handful of the biggest cities, $100k should work for most anyone
Obviously there are exceptions
People that have massive amounts of debt will struggle
People that annually meet their deductible/OOP on their insurance and therefore have expensive insurance
People that expect to have significant expenses as they age
Above average sized families, might struggle or at least feel more squeezed (6,7,8 kids etc)
But for the average person/family it "should" be more than enough

What will $96K be in 30 years? Most likely it will be equivalent to $50K or a little less in today's dollars
