That's true. I should specify that I live in CA. $96k with four kids doesn't go
far. This is obviously highly subjective on where you live.
My bigger argument should have been that I don't think earning 4% (net of all fees) is as easy as many think in today's market. You can do it, but you are going to have to take a lot of risk to get there.

What will $96K be in 30 years? Most likely it will be equivalent to $50K or a little less in today's dollars
