Try it in a major Metro on the coasts and it is not possible if you want to
Vacation and live in a single family home in decent schools, and eat out sometimes.
Forget about boat, two late model vehicles. That goes without saying that you do not have these.
$100k per year in these areas means never go out. Kids can’t do camps in the summer, swim team, music lessons. Sounds crazy, I know. But I have tried and it doesn’t work.
It’s why everyone here is on two incomes…or they are a lawyer or lobbyist.

What will $96K be in 30 years? Most likely it will be equivalent to $50K or a little less in today's dollars
