Since the questions were how likely you are to attend this school, and how likely you would be to recommend the school to someone else, it is not surprising that a major school closer to home would get higher scores. They didn't ask "how strong do you think this brand is?"

Furthermore, being a religious school with our honor code probably means we scored pretty low in the "how likely are you to recommend BYU to someone else?" question. Even if a player would consider subjecting themselves to the honor code, they probably would be less likely to recommend that for someone else.
