By suggesting that Tanner needs pressure is an acknowledgment that the coaches perceive weakness or that a tanner needs to be challenged...against a freshman. If they don’t perceive weakness or if he’s highly motivated to Win and lead this team, why does he need pressure?

Not what you want in “an experienced senior”.

Tanner was part of a historically bad season (not all his blame). Don’t trust he’s capable of leading the team out.
